Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Terms of Service”) carefully before using the danangbike.com website and the DaNangBike scooter rental services operated by DaNangBike (“us,” “we,” or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Rental Agreement

By renting a scooter from DaNangBike, you agree to the following:

1. Eligibility Requirements

   • You must be at least 18 years old

   • You must possess a valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type

   • For certain models, an international driving permit may be required

   • You must provide original passport or ID for verification

2. Rental Period and Extensions

   • The rental period begins at the time of scooter pickup

   • Extensions must be requested and confirmed in advance

   • Late returns may incur additional charges

3. Payment Terms

   • Full payment is required before scooter release

   • Security deposit may be required (cash or passport)

   • Additional charges may apply for damages, late returns, or traffic violations

User Responsibilities

1. Safe Operation

   • Always wear a helmet while operating the scooter

   • Follow all Vietnamese traffic laws and regulations

   • Do not operate under the influence of alcohol or drugs

   • Carry required documents (license, rental agreement) at all times

2. Scooter Care

   • Park the scooter in secure locations

   • Use provided anti-theft devices

   • Report any mechanical issues immediately

   • Maintain proper fuel levels

3. Prohibited Activities

   • Off-road driving

   • Carrying more than one passenger

   • Subleasing the scooter to others

   • Using for commercial purposes without authorization

Insurance and Liability

1. Basic Coverage

   • Third-party liability insurance included

   • Does not cover personal injury or theft of personal belongings

2. Damage and Accident Procedures

   • Report any accident to local police and DaNangBike immediately

   • Do not admit fault or liability at the scene

   • Take photos of damage and accident scene

   • Obtain contact information of involved parties

3. Financial Responsibility

   • Renter is responsible for all damages during rental period

   • Deductible applies for insurance claims

   • Full responsibility for traffic fines and violations

Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. Cancellation by Renter

   • 100% refund if cancelled 48 hours before rental

   • 50% refund if cancelled 24 hours before rental

   • No refund for no-shows or same-day cancellations

2. Cancellation by DaNangBike

   • Full refund if we cannot provide the reserved scooter

   • Alternative scooter may be offered at similar rate

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DaNangBike and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used without prior written consent.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your rental agreement immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
